About Meinhard
Meinhard was one of the first observers to point out the hanging demographic structure of German society caused by the dramatically reduced birth rate. As a result he proposed radical changes to the German pension system. He was a co-founder of the IWG Institute in Bonn (Institute for Economics and Society), which applies scientific rigour to sociological questions. ; He is also a Professor at Leipzig University.
