About Sile
Fluent in both English and Irish, Síle is well-liked as a talented television-radio personality and voice-over artist, and has developed a wealth of broadcasting experience over the past twelve years in the business. A native of Spiddal in Co. Galway, she has worked on a variety of successful and well-received projects for RTÉ and TG4 including Entertainment, Daytime, Lifestyle, Factual, Young Peoples and News and Current Affairs programming.Her previous television credits include, RTÉ's Winning Streak, The National Lottery Gameshow, Nationwide and Up for the Match as well as a number of Irish language programmes for RTÉ and TG4, including more recently TG4’s cult dating/fashion series Paisean Faisean.
She has worked on a number of radio shows down through the years and currently hosts her own Saturday morning show – Shenanigans on Newstalk from 12pm until 2pm.
She is a regular MC at events and Awards ceremonies across the country and is popular as a professional host with a friendly, down to earth style.

Galway and the youngest of four children, she has worked on a variety of successful and well-received projects for RTÉ and TG4 including Entertainment, Daytime, Lifestyle, Factual, Young Peoples and News and Current Affairs programming. In 2005 Síle took part in the first Charity You're A Star series in which she raised over forty thousand euro for Galway based charity Cope. Later that year she went on to co-present season four of the hit series. A natural people person, she co-presented RTÉ's live coverage of the St. Patrick's Day Parade celebrations for three years in a row, including fronting the Festival Highlights programme in 2007. Later that year she co-presented Class Act, a primetime entertainment series for RTÉ One; and for two years she travelled across the country reporting and presenting Pobal, a weekly regional and community affairs programme. She was a guest presenter on RTÉ One's travel programme No Frontiers on a few occasions and her most recent trip in January 2010 brought her to Thailand to do a couple of reports for the show.
She is a part of RTÉ's daytime family having joined her sister Gráinne in 2008 on the stations flagship late-afternoon daytime show, Seoige; and having presented many times with the current daytime series The Afternoon Show.
She continues to gain respect and praise as a voice over artist for her warmth and versatility and in 2010 she was unveiled as the voice of Meteor's Irish Voicemail service. Since then she has also narrated Feargal Quinn's Retail Therapy, the lifestyle series which was a huge hit with viewers.
