Catherine is President of the European Money and Finance Forum (SUERF) and a member of the Cercle des Economistes, a renowned French independent financial think-tank. She is also Professor of Finance in Paris.Catherine was a consultant to the financial stability department of the Banque de France, and also a LIFFE for interest rate derivatives.

Catherine Lubochinsky is professor at the University of Paris 2 (Panthéon-Assas) and the director of the Masters in Finance. She is the President of the European Money and Finance Forum (SUERF) and a member of the "Cercle des Economistes" (French independent think tank).Among her other activities she is also a member of the Comité des Etablissements de Crédit et des Entreprises d'Investissement and a member of the Scientific Board of the Association Française de la Gestion Financière.
She has previously been a consultant for the financial stability department of Banque de France, for LIFFE in interest rate derivatives, and for several banks. Catherine has been working on interest rates and derivatives for more than 20 years.
She has written numerous books and articles on this field. Her recent publications are on financial markets, hedge funds, credit risk and volatility. She has also lectured world-wide on tailored courses for financial institutions.
